Our founding fathers would be proud as The Starlight Bowl presents Red,White & Rock N' Roll- a July 4th Fireworks Spectacular filled with Hits! The evening kicks off with Southern California's legendary surf group The Surfaris and the most famous surf song of all time "Wipe Out".
The Tokens will salute our Veterans with "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" as well as sing the many other hits they produced for Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Chiffons, Randy & The Rainbows, and of course their 20 Million selling # 1 Hit "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
Independence Day would not be the same without the music of Americas band. Surfin- The Beach Boys Tribute will bring " Good Vibrations" to the Bowl and "Fun, Fun, Fun" as they recreate the great Beach Boys hits.
KEARTH 101 Legend Brian Beirne Mr. Rock N' Roll® will Emcee the evening under the stars.

The uniband choreography, the Fender guitar line up, the famous custom striped shirts, right down to the black suede Beach Boy boots, it's all here. Bob Berryhill, original guitarist of the surf rock group The Surfaris began his professional music career by co-composing and recording Wipe Out, one of the most popular and influential instrumental songs of all time, as recognized by Billboard Magazine and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wipe Out, Surfer Joe and others captured the sound of the early 1960's.
Initially catapulted by the California surf culture, The Surfaris transcended the local scene into international stardom. Bob continues to play the music and tell the amazing story behind the music of THE SURFARIS. The band just celebrated Wipe Out's 50th Anniversary with a tour covering CA, HI, AZ, SD, NV, IL.
The Lion is no longer sleeping he's rocking through the jungle with the group that gave you "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and the countless hits that they've produced over the past 40 years such as "One Fine Day", "He's So Fine", "See You In September", "I Got Rhythm", "Tie A Yellow Ribbon", "Knock Three Times", "Denise" and many more. An evening packed with hit after hit, their comedic routines and audience participation is a sure winner.

In a survey conducted by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Record Industry Association of America The Tokens #1 classic recording of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" placed 159* in the top 365 records of ALL TIME!
BRIAN BEIRNE "MR ROCK N' ROLL"®
Brian has worked as news director, TV weatherman, and Fox News TV entertainment reporter, which won him the LA Press Club Award for the best entertainment reporting. Beirne has been nominated for Oldies Personality of the Year by Radio and Records. He has been Billboard Magazines Newscaster of the Year and has also won two additional Billboard awards for music specials, which he wrote, voiced and produced. Brian had a long running weekly oldies radio show in Tokyo and Nagoya Japan. In addition to his daily radio show Brian has been the voice of several national radio spots as well as the voiceover host of "The Beach Boys Summer Beach Party" TV Show. Beirne wrote and hosted "New Gold on CD" a syndicated radio show for Westwood One as well as writing for Dick Clark's "Rock, Roll & Remember" radio show. He has been the voice of airline in-flight programming "Sounds of the 50's" & "Sounds of the 60's". He hosts various charity events in the Southern California area and recently was a television guest co-host for AM Arizona on AZ TV. Brian also continues to produce concerts around the country for private and corporate parties as well as large venues.
