July 10 - 6:15 p.m. An evening with Steve Tyrell’s high-profile performances of The Way You Look Tonight in the movie Father Of The Bride and Give Me The Simple Life and On The Sunny Side Of The Street from the sequel Father Of The Bride Part II earned him critical acclaim as a jazz vocalist. As a songwriter, he wrote the pop hit How Do You Talk To An Angel, was awarded the 2005 Grammy for producing the best traditional pop vocal album, Stardust and co-produced Grammy-winning singles Don't Know Much and Somewhere Out There. His first album A New Standard, reigned atop Billboard's Jazz Chart while establishing Steve as one of today's premier singers of standards. His newest album, This Guy’s in Love features love songs Isn't It Romantic, This Guy's In Love With You, and The Nearness Of You with guest performances by Clark Terry, Michael Brecker, and Burt Bacharach.
Contemporary jazz piano/keyboard recording artist Lao Tizer is an exhilarating young artist that magnetizes fans of all musical tastes. He was nominated Best New Artist of the Year for the 2002 National Smooth Jazz Awards. Lao and The Lao Tizer Band’s first album, Golden Soul reached the Billboard Top 50 for Contemporary Jazz Album Chart three times. |

August 14 - 6:30 p.m. BURBANK PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA Celebrate American Music with the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra featuring Cheryl Carter and the Steve Trytten Trio playing music by jazz greats Duke Ellington and Cole Porter. Favorite music for the entire family including Copeland's Rodeo, Tubby the Tuba, Stars and Stripes, and other favorites. Pre-concert activities include a musical menagerie, a musical instrument hands-on experience for children of all ages.

Costumed in bell bottoms, platform shoes, polyester shirts and frizzy retro hair, their outrageous high energy show basically refueled the disco craze across the nation. They have been seen by over two million people over the years all over the country. At such prestigious venues including The Coconut Club in Beverly Hills, The Canyon Club in Agoura, Club Rio in Las Vegas, and LeBear in New York City as well as performances on The Jay Leno Show, MTV, Ellen , TNT, and America’s Funniest Home Video’s. |
